Unique in Germany is the presentation of more than 40 different Cologne associations and initiatives in the pavilions as well as on the stage on the Christmas fair at the Cologne Cathedral. Beside information about the social engagement different actions are organised to inform on site about the work and to collect donations.

Mayor Fritz Schramma and Ford CEO Bernhard Mattes had baken many cases of cookies for visitors of the Christmas market at the Cologne Cathedral and had distributed them among the visitors which had to pay a donation.
